Reflections of the Mind

The work explores how we perceive between abstract and figurative elements. The human brain adjusts what it sees of its own body in a mirror to create a unified body image. This work challenges that image by the insertion of abstract elements that are not re-ordered by the brain. There is a deliberate play between what is real, reflection, and environment.
