The work explores the relationship between colour, materiality and form. The roughly cast paper pulp contrasts with the wool strands creating a harmonious dissonance. This is reinforced by the background colour of the piece offset by the multi-colours of the yarn. A further contradistinction occurs between the form of the base piece and the geometry traced out by the linear colour.
