Sylvan Hill Residence

A single family home on a private 13 acre site. Size is 4,600 s.f. heated, with a total of 6,500 s.f. including decks, greenhouse, and mechanical.

Pavilions are set in the forest nestled among mature trees. Natural materials that complement the existing site and reinforce the concept of living within nature. The pavilions are to provide a 'cave' like sense of security yet at the same time be light and allow expansive views across a majestic countryside. Natural light is introduced in a variety of ways to reinforce these architectural ideas.​
