Equueleus

Part of the Cosmos series the work explores the interaction of form, materiality, and colour. The plinth is deliberately omitted and the work stands directly on the floor enhancing the connection between the work and the viewer. The name of the work is taken from Ptolemy’s constellations, which has as its basis the earth (read the viewer) as the centre of the universe.
