PROCESS Project Lancashire Secondary School Location Lancashire, UK Description A new build secondary faith school, incorporating an existing sports hall elsewhere on site. Idea A sloping site with expansive views down a hill towards the town beyond.  The building is set at the high end of the site and is approached by bridge.  A semi-circular shape of the building responds to the site contours and creates a large grade-level courtyard with optimal sun orientation. The heart of the school is created with dining, assembly, library and IT areas.  These are at the centre, and are focused on the open common spaces that enjoy the distant views. Return to homepage
